Orgreave by Yorkshire Main

Born of two mining families in Doncaster, my grandfathers spent their working lives at Yorkshire Main Colliery and nearby Brodsworth Main Colliery.
Memories of 1984 still resound terribly today.
The most personal musical project I have ever taken on, "Orgreave" was written over the last 2 years, using experimental and modular electronic equipment, and many soundbites which were necessary to tell the story. Any sounds and samples used here are in the spirit of telling this story and spreading the word, that the Battle of Orgreave on this day, 18th June, back in 1984, demands a public inquiry even now.
