I started writing this song inspired by a tragic accident I stumbled upon back in February of 2019. A beautiful musician and person I met in the low desert was severely injured and almost lost his life. The day after I met a man by chance that told me there needed to be a song called the pendulum swings. Being in a depressed state of writer's block at the time, I took his idea to heart. I wrote the song for Drew with the hope that the experience would speak to the tragedy in people's lives and perhaps to our idea of what kind of society we want to be as we enter a new century.
May your woes be gone son! My name is Yaz Solaire Yanos, busker and founder of Woesbegone Sun.
I was diagnosed with ASD late in life, at 30. So I hope to raise awareness for Autism, as well as share some of my experience.
I started playing guitar at 13, and soon started songwriting at 15, inspired by Nirvana to channel the angst of growing up a Mormon into a passion for meaningful music.
