Cinders is the debut album from Larkk, the new project of Juno-winning artist Danielle McTaggart (Dear Rouge). Stepping into a more intimate and atmospheric world, Larkk blends cinematic folk, chamber-pop arrangements, and whispered emotional storytelling into a record that feels both fragile and luminous.

Written largely in quiet moments at the piano, Cinders moves like a slow-burning film—string swells, delicate harmonies, and soft percussive pulses guiding songs about renewal, heartbreak, devotion, and the small sparks that keep us alive. These are songs built from stillness: spacious, textural, and emotionally unguarded.

Produced in collaboration with Thomas D'Arcy in Toronto, Canada, the album drifts between introspective ballads and sweeping, orchestral passages, inviting listeners into a world of candlelit rooms, echoing hallways, and flickers of hope glowing in the dark.
