Melting by Impossible Mule

A ramshackle collection of dance tracks I’ve somehow managed to put together, which would not ordinarily find their way onto other Impossible Mule albums. Each track has been designed to shake your teeth.

Raw, haunting and deeply melodic tales of longing, reckoning and the strange beauty found in quiet. Sometimes there’s piano, or harmonica, a lo-fi drum machine and, when the mood takes me, beatboxing. At the center is a rich baritone pulling each track into its own distinct world. Every song is recorded and manipulated entirely using a phone app, which I hope adds an unexpected intimacy and grit.
