Hedera by Hedera

Bristol-based chamber folk project Hedera release their long-awaited eponymous debut album on 20 February 2026 via Cuculi Records.

'Hedera' is a collection of original & traditional pieces translated through a prism of experimental minimalism and contemporary classical influences. As composers, tune-interpreters and collaborative arrangers, they have carved out an incomparable sound which draws on the deep and varied areas of knowledge brought by each member. The album was recorded at The Roost in Bristol, co-produced by the band in collaboration with audio engineer Rowan Elliott (Tamsin Elliott & Tarek Elazhary, So Far We Have Come, ***** The Observer; Hands of the Heron, Quiet Light; Fritillaries, Thank God I Have The Songs).

Hedera is a chamber folk project from Bristol featuring Lulu Austin, Maisie Brett, Tamsin Elliott, Beth Roberts and Isis Wolf-Light. They perform original and traditional pieces inspired by music from England, Scotland, France, Bali, Georgia, Bulgaria, Ethiopia and beyond, translated through a prism of experimental minimalism and contemporary classical influences.
