Gravel Up! by Gravel in the Basement

Hey everybody,
before you listen to this album (Gravel Up!) we'd like to ask you to read our statement concerning the lyrics of some songs: Some of them as a whole, single lines or words are politcally totally ignorant or even sexist, which we deeply regret. We sincerely want to apologize for that, especially to all women out there. Eventhough the lyrics were not written in the spirit of intentional sexism or political ignorance, but rather of unreflected foolishness, we consider it a big mistake of ours, for which we're sorry. Nonetheless we decided to keep the album uploaded, as we don't approve of "historical revisionism" and clean washing. With these words in mind we hope you can enjoy the album anyways, especially those songs, whose lyrcis aren't fucked up.

Gravel in the Basement are a four-piece skate punk band. Their songs and live performances are dedicated to the Californian punk sound of the 90s, which means up-tempo drums, loud guitars and aggressive yet melodic vocals. Keeping it as catchy and fast as possible Gravel in the Basement will never fail to make your day, weather you want to sing along, dance pogo or just get drunk at the bar.
