This release is part of the Geertruida (cassette) Box #1, which features three cassettes from shoegaze bands from Ukraine (mandarinaduck), Russia (Glaswen) and the USA (Everything Fades). The idea of this box was to introduce the world to three of our newly discovered favourite bands in one go.

Being very much inspired by the indie music of the 90s, mandarinaduck managed to create their own sound out of that. Gardensouls is a mix of shoegaze, grunge, pop and that extra element that sometimes reminds you of a band or song, but which you can't put your finger on.
