Reel Time by Gabriel Le Mar

You can hear it in his productions that Gabriel Le Mar feels at home on the mixing consoles.

Breathing ambient synths, massive bass drums and the typical short electro-snare can be found in his sound pool.

On 'Reel Time' Gabriel uses Electro-, Glitch- or softened Big Beats patterns. Around it he groups a few high hats enriched with deep reverb and filter modulations with floating synth surfaces, it lifts to slow gliding flights over Mediterranean islands and creates a deep tension.

Opulent stringslayer (Firefly), percussively enriched Progressive House with a pinch of Acid (Stick Dance) or orientally inspired Dubfunk (Zero DB) can be found. A real cornucopia of style-determining factors from Le Mar´s broad musical socialisation between AmbientTrance, Dub, Chillout and Electro, bringing this mix of elements together to a synthesis in best reel time.
