DJFR001 by Ruffkutt

Deep Jungle Records is a label I've been supporting for many years, following the old & new releases on there, assisting on the design & I've even been lucky enough to have my own release on there. They're one of the top labels in the jungle scene currently & I'm very pleased to announce this collaborative release, DJFR001.

Ruffkutt has had some excellent tunes released in the 90s, on labels like No U-Turn, Quayside, Brain & his own Heavyweight 10" series (plus the Heavyweight releases on Channel 5 & Rogue Trooper) which has been recently repressed. Some of his unreleased material surfaced a few years ago on Deep Jungle & around that time when Harmony was selecting the tunes for those releases, there was one tune by Ruffkutt called I Can't Take It which I was really keen on but it wasn't scheduled for release & I didn't have my own label at the time to do anything with it.

Thankfully though, by the time I set this label up and had established it a bit, the tune was still available for release, plus the samples for the tune still exist, so me & Harmony were also able to do new remixes to accompany the original on this release.

Big thanks to Guillaume de Ubéda for the Future Retro London logo in a Deep Jungle style, shouts going out to Ruffkutt for allowing us to release his music and add our own ideas on new remixes & a very special mention to Harmony for his remix, his co-operation in the making of this release & for running such a solid label.
