If 'Gone Down Meadowland' serves as an invitation to come journey with us across the broads of our making, 'Meadowland Remixed' is the enthusiastic RSVP. It is a project long in gestation, and one that we’re really proud to have now realised. We’ve brought together contributions both local and international, side by side; reflecting, rethinking, and reimagining our debut in all of the ways we never could. It displays not only our closest allies' unquestionable musical prowess, but also their formidable abilities of invention- moments that before were bright come-hithers are pulled into more mysterious spaces; darker bubbling tensions metamorphose into vibrancy and sharpness. Paces quicken, contexts shift. In flipping and unfolding the album, the Meadowland you (hopefully) have grown to know is now anew. Familiar and unfamiliar. Form and formless. The mirror bends and the Image is eschewed, but the colours remain.
'Meadowland Remixed' features exciting new interpretations of Floral Image's 2025 debut from the likes of Los Bitchos, Minami Deutsch, Black Market Karma, Vinyl Williams, and many more. It releases on 23rd April on Fuzz Club.
