We’ve turned the calendar once again and are back with a schedule that’s even tighter. What better way to start than with Hexalyne, a true genius who embodies everything we love here: syncopated rhythms, intricate structures, and most importantly, music filled with emotion and crafted with exquisite production.
When we first started this journey, we were hesitant about releasing physical formats. Having collaborated with other labels before, we saw how physical releases could compromise artistic freedom, everything depended on selling a minimum number of copies, which was often unrealistic. Imagine trying to sell 100 copies of some of the releases we’ve put out at Evel, it was simply impossible. So we resisted.
It was thanks to the incomparable Nike Vomita (Peter Furlan), his sharp eye for finding the right person and their persistence in achieving it and proving it , Enric (we love you!) for understanding our artistic and economic proposal and helping make this project viable, Adrian from Aplauso (forever grateful for your stunning graphic work, we miss you!) and Secret Kitchen (A friend forever and the one who truly knows how to listen to the demon or angel I carry within) that we discovered a way to bring our vision of electronic music into the physical world. I still remember Enric saying: “At the end of the day, artists want to see their work printed, it’s like the culmination of their effort.” That made me realize how important this truly was. And here we are.
We began releasing CDs, and today we’ve reached what once seemed unimaginable: 50 CD releases. Absolutely amazing!
What can I say? Your support, your words, the music, your comments, I don’t have enough words to thank you all. You make this path something beyond imagination.
And now, we’re thrilled to present Sorin once again, delivering perhaps the finest/deepest IDM/Glitch out there.
