Clap! Clap! returns to Black Acre for his second outing of 2020 - a percussive single entitled ‘Mandragora’.
Named after the mandrake - a magical plant used in ancient rituals to cure people’s souls -‘Mandragora’ demonstrates Clap! Clap!’s speciality in sourcing inspiration from every corner of the world. A cacophony of elements, such as delayed strings, intricate rhythms, chanting vocals and delayed stabs, are all blended together expertly to generate a mesmeric aesthetic by an artist very much at the top of his game.
Clap! Clap!, aka Cristiano Crisci, is an internationally acclaimed producer and performer. Bringing together disparate inspirations and styles onto the dancefloor of his mind, Crisci has spent over a decade establishing himself as one of Italy's most daring electronic music producers.
