Awakening is the result of over a year’s worth of music written and
recorded collaboratively with close friends.
The album explores the heartbreak and disintegration that follows when, not just the rug but the whole floor is pulled out from under you.

However, Hockey balances this anguish with a guarded hope for the future, moving on from the past and looking to new things. Finding healing in the process of letting go.
