In the misty lowlands of the Alderham Fen, the sleepy town of Thestwick-on-Alderham is transforming by the minute. The greedy duke and duchess are draining the marsh, and a quartet of supernatural creatures threatens the safety of all who call the fen home. Through the reeds, beneath the mud, in the crumbling tower to the south... there's fear and woe wherever you look. And yet, there's a majesty to the fen that few can appreciate.
