Reliving With by Blanket Swimming
Reliving With is a longform composition constructed using field recordings, sine tone generator, tuning forks, synthesizers, mountain dulcimer, and voice. The piece centers around a 136hz binaural beat (Earth Year tone).
It was performed live on two occasions: first on my October 2025 tour in Bourbonnais, IL at Limber Mind & Body (with Mykel Boyd and Seah) and second in November as a public electroacoustic sound bath at Very Well KC in Overland Park, KS.
The first track is the studio version, stitched together using four different takes of the piece. The second track on the album is a live recording of the second mentioned instance of performing the piece publicly, which combines a room recording and direct input signal. Please note that sounds of the activity in the room were left in as well as ground hum, tuning fork strikes, pedal clicks, and other artifacts.
