Little Happiness by Barbara Koenig

“Little Happiness” is the debut album of multi-instrumentalist and singer Barbara Koenig. It is an unusual and surprising collection of songs, both traditional and contemporary, with unique versions of well-known songs and self-penned pieces, from such diverse sources as Andy Irvine, Carole King, Hozier, Darrell Scott, and others. Barbara`s soothing voice and her fine accomplished guitar and bouzouki playing transports the listener on an intimate journey, from “Autumn Gold” by Andy Irvine and Carole Kings “So Far Away” to the moving original song “Let Me Carry You” and Maria Conan Doyle’s “The Silence”, delivered as a delightful duet with her daughter.
