Nodes brings together early works by Portable that had previously only been available on vynil.
These stemming from German labels like Perlon and Background records and San Francisco label by Sutekh, Context.fm ,the latter releasing Portable’s first release dating back to 2002.
The concept behind Nodes is to connect tracks that were instrumental in cementing Portable’s reputation as one of electronic music most forward looking composers of our time.
This is evident in how these compositions still sound fresh across a time frame spanning nearly two decades. And could be seen as a precursor to the upcoming new releases on French Label Circus Company
